Unimedica multivitamin capsules contain 23 important vitamins, minerals, trace elements, OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) and Coenzyme Q10 per capsule. The ingredients have been used in high doses and without undesirable additives in their most bioavailable form. This allows the body to absorb and utilise them optimally. Valuable plant extracts round off this comprehensive vitamin–mineral complex for ideal effect.
A daily dose of 2 capsules covers at least 100% of the recommended daily requirement for vitamins and roughly half of the daily requirement for the contained minerals and trace elements. Unimedica multivitamin capsules provide a good basic supply of the most important nutrients (excluding calcium and iron). This combination of nutrients supports increased energy (e.g. vitamin B12) and performance (e.g. vitamin B5) as well as a strong immune system (e.g. vitamin C and zinc).
The product contains the essential trace element selenium in the form of selenomethionine (selenium yeast). In selenomethionine, selenium is organically bound to the amino acid methionine. Here selenium is broken down only half as quickly, creating a depot effect. Unlike inorganic sodium selenite, which is practically odourless, organic selenium has a more noticeable characteristic odour typical of the element selenium. We have deliberately chosen the depot effect, even if a characteristic odour remains.
Unimedica multivitamin capsules, with their B-vitamin complex, contribute to important metabolic processes. Vitamin A (retinol), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), vitamin B9 (folic acid), B12 (cobalamin), zinc and copper support the immune system.
Vitamin A (retinol), vitamin B2 (riboflavin) and zinc maintain normal vision. Normal muscle function benefits from vitamin D and magnesium. Bones are maintained by vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin K (menaquinone), vitamin D (cholecalciferol), zinc, manganese and magnesium. Vitamin A, vitamin C, the vitamins B2, B3 (niacin) and B7 (biotin), zinc, copper and iodine are beneficial for the skin, and B7, zinc and copper also for the hair.
The vitamins C, E (tocopherol) and B2, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese protect cells from oxidative stress. And vitamin C, the vitamins B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B5 (pantothenic acid), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folate) and B12 (cobalamin) reduce tiredness and fatigue.
