The manufacturer states:

MOUNTAINDROP® Original Shilajit Himalaya is harvested in the Himalaya mountains at an altitude of over 5,000 m. It has a deep black colour, its texture is less sticky than that of the Altai variety, and it also has a milder taste and odour. The Shilajit is supplied in a violet glass container with biophotonic properties, which preserves the resin in its original, pure form!

In cosmetics, Shilajit is used to produce scrubs, wraps and ointments. Shilajit is suitable for all skin types.

Ingredients

100% pure Himalayan resin. No fillers, powders or additives.

Recommended intake

Take one measuring spoon (0.2 g) and dissolve it completely in water or warm tea, juice, milk or your own power shake. The temperature should not exceed 39 degrees Celsius. You can also take it directly by mouth.

The recommended daily dose (0.2 g to 0.6 g) should not be exceeded.

After three weeks' use, a one-week break is recommended.

CONTRAINDICATIONS FOR MOUNTAINDROP

As Mumijo affects sugar metabolism, people with diabetes must monitor their blood glucose level regularly.

Mumijo (or Shilajit) contains phenylalanine and is unsuitable for people with phenylketonuria (PKU).

Not suitable for pregnant women.

I have been taking Shilajit for 1 year now, always a small spoonful of about 1 g dissolved in water in the morning and feel that it is good for me, I am fitter and my tiredness has decreased.

Authentic and of high, pure quality
The MOUNTAINDROP® Original Shilajit from the Himalayan mountains is dark, almost black, as is the glass jar in which it is delivered. The resin and the glass wall are barely distinguishable in colour. The supplied spatula, with a rounded hook at the top and engraved measurement markings at the lower end, is extremely helpful for loosening the desired amount from the solid, resinous substance, winding it around the lower end and then hooking it onto the rim of my lukewarm (39 °C) tea glass with the rounded hook, where the resin soon dissolves. The scent of the Shilajit has a smoky note. The taste of the resin is earthy and gives my morning oolong tea an acquired flavour that I have by now grown used to. Through my commuting I received confirmation that I am dealing with an excellent quality of authentic Shilajit, and that Shilajit, with its inexhaustible quantity and variety of active constituents such as over 85 minerals, numerous vitamins (including vitamin B12), amino acids, selenium, humic acids, fulvic acids, etc., has a versatile effect on the human body. In my case, improvements in the digestive system and in my skin (age spots) have already been noticed after not very long a period of use. For the stabilisation of the organs in the abdominal cavity (uterine prolapse) and of the skeletal system I also expect a supportive effect after longer use.

Great product
I bought it recently and think it's great. It fulfils the individual authenticity criteria such as: Consistency, odour, dissolves in water but not in alcohol, taste.... Combines well with herbal tea. For me, the effect is not obtrusively upbeat but pleasantly more vigour to do something after a working day.

Tastes very smoky
I don't doubt the effect. But it tastes strongly of burnt resin. I already had very fine, mild shilajit from another brand: luvy. They only sell capsules, although it tastes so fine. So with this one, capsule form would be more ideal.

Luvy's shilajit is not natural, hence the sweet flavour. The softgels do not contain resin, as advertised, but an extract in glycerine solution.

Unfortunately I am disappointed. I've been taking it for a month now. As the shilajit from the Himalayas is always so highly praised. I previously had the shilajit from the Altai and I thought it was great.

Shilajit
I bought it too and have been taking it for a month. I think it's far too hard. I can hardly take it out with a spoon. I take it with lukewarm tea. I sleep better and my skin has improved. The only thing that irritates me is the hard shilajit that is so difficult to get onto the spoon.
