A great book that should be on every bookshelf

Jaques Martel mainly works on traumas in youth that are not recognised, especially by the person affected. He makes connections with chronic illnesses that are very plausible. The book is certainly easier to read if you have some basic medical knowledge. I can only really recommend it to everyone

Now that I know that illnesses originate from within, I have found this book to be a valuable "encyclopaedia" for interpreting my symptoms. The body is not a machine for which there is an operating manual. The body is a complex system and our psyche has a decisive influence on how we feel. I can recommend this book to anyone who doesn't just accept the pharmaceutical route as an explanation.
