Red yeast rice extract (grain; Monascus purpureus; contains 0.4% monacolin K), coating agent hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (capsule shell), filler microcrystalline cellulose, L-leucine, red yeast rice extract (grain; Monascus purpureus; contains 3% monacolin K), anti-caking agent cottonseed oil, anti-caking agent calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid

One capsule contains:
Red yeast rice extract 600 mg
of which monacolin K 2.95 mg
L-leucine 40 mg

Recommended intake

Adults: take 1 capsule daily with plenty of water at the evening meal.
Anyone taking cholesterol-lowering medication must avoid red yeast rice products; pregnant or breastfeeding women and persons under 18 or over 70 should also avoid them.

Very effective
I have been taking fermented red rice for more than three years. My cholesterol levels were very high and my naturopath recommended Red Rice. Until recently I had the capsules from another company, but now I have found that they are also available here and of course I order them here at narayana, like all my dietary supplements, because I am more than satisfied with everything I have bought so far. The price is right, the quality and the delivery. The red rice capsules are very good to take, work wonderfully against high cholesterol and are well tolerated.

I still can't prove that my cholesterol levels have been lowered..... but I hope that a reduction will be possible with the intake of red rice. I am not overweight and my diet is not problematic.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this product because - as I was told by my nutritionist (based on test results from independent laboratories) - the cholesterol-lowering active ingredient in this high-dose form poses a risk to the liver and kidneys, for example, according to the latest findings.

Hello, tests were carried out with 10 mg doses. 2.5 mg is correspondingly lower. The 10 mg doses were very effective and in any case better and cheaper than the chemical version. The effective dose is 5-10 mg daily. You should read test reports and perhaps not believe everything that doctors or pharmaceutical lobbyists want to tell you.
