Red Rice red yeast rice from natural fermentation - with 2.5 mg monacolin K per daily dose (1 capsule) - 120 capsules - from Unimedica
This red rice is not the familiar red or red‑skinned rice variety. Rather, the red‑fermented rice, also called red mould rice, is produced by fermentation with the purple rice mould Monascus purpureus. The intense red colouring develops during the fermentation. Red mould rice is traditionally used in East Asia, among other things, as a colouring and flavouring for food. The red rice is rich in Monacolin K. This product should not be consumed if cholesterol‑lowering medication is being taken.

Produktinformationen
When the rice turns red ...
Red rice with 2.5 mg monacolin K from Unimedica is the result of a careful natural process of fermentation. Red rice results from the interaction of normal rice with the yeast Monascus purpureus, which gives this rice its characteristic red-violet colour. It is therefore known as red yeast rice or red fermented rice.
This process naturally generates monacolin K and further monacolins (mould cultures). The controlled fermentation process generates a standard amount of monacolin K in the red rice capsules from Unimedica.
Not suitable for everyone
Due to its characteristics, red rice should only be used in small amounts and only for those between the ages of 18 and 70. It is recommended not to take these capsules during pregnancy and breastfeeding or if already taking products with red yeast rice or cholesterol-lowering substances.
Each brown bottle contains 120 capsules. This is enough for 4 months.

Vegan capsule shells from pure plant-based cellulose (HPMC), free of carrageen and PEG.
Red rice from Unimedica is free of additives such as colouring, stabilisers and separating agents such as magnesium stearate; it is also GMO-free, lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan.
