Great start
I really enjoyed the book "Eat feel fresh - the modern Ayurveda cookbook for a plant-based diet" by author Sahara Rose Ketabi. Anyone who likes to immerse themselves in bright colours and beautiful, inspiring pictures will really enjoy this book. It's not my first book on Ayurveda, but it really is a very well-versed and interesting book, because the author brings a lot of personal experience to the table and also goes into particular detail about making the Ayurvedic diet plant-based or vegan. The recipes are decorated with beautiful, colourful flowers and crystals and there are also occasional pictures from India. This makes the book all the more authentic. There really are a lot of new recipes that I hadn't seen before, I particularly liked the rose cardamom latte for the divine feminine in us and the different bowls in rainbow colours - a different one for each chakra. A really great introduction to Ayurveda again and very inspiring. I am very happy to recommend the book."

Looks well-founded, colourful and very appealing
First of all, this book is simply unbelievably beautiful to look at. The colours of the pictures, whether of food or impressions of the country, it is as colourful as India itself. But looks alone do not make a good book. So here's what it's about and what's in the book. It introduces the Ayurvedic art of healing, deals with alkalising foods and includes the possibility of determining your own chakra and dosha. I think this theoretical part is quite detailed, but it forms the basis of all the recipes that follow and is therefore indispensable. Simply cooking according to your mood is not an option here. You have to dig in a bit. But all the recipes, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner, for snacks, side dishes, desserts or drinks, are all explained. What they do and what they are good for is summarised in short sentences. The recipes also contain notes on how they can be modified for other doshas. I was also amazed that hardly any exotic ingredients are used and that most of the food required is readily available in Germany. In any case, I am excited about it, want to embark on the adventure without any prior knowledge and see what this healing method and diet is all about. The ashwagandha coconut milk is already very tasty.
