Unimedica's colostrum capsules contain 60% IgG (Immunoglobulin G), one of the highest concentrations on the market, placing them in the premium category. Colostrum is the first milk received by newborn calves. What is Colostrum?
Colostrum is the so-called first milk with which mammals nourish their newborns. For Unimedica's colostrum capsules, only surplus first milk from the first and second milking of European dairy cows is used – after the calf has been fed. The colostrum is generally collected within the first 36 hours after milk production begins.
This first milk contains up to 40 times more Immunoglobulin G than human breast milk and is structurally 99% comparable.

From Colostrum to Capsule: The Advanced Process for Preserving Valuable Nutrients
The colostrum is processed using state-of-the-art, gentle methods to optimally preserve its valuable components. The entire process includes several steps focused on the highest purity and quality: First, the colostrum is naturally freed from fat to obtain a particularly concentrated form. It is then gently de-caseinated so that the structure of the colostrum remains intact without losing important nutrients. Ultrafiltration removes excess components while valuable immune factors and nutrients remain concentrated.
In the next step, the colostrum is sterilized and filtered to ensure it is hygienically pure and free from unwanted microorganisms. Nanofiltration also ensures that even the smallest particles are removed, resulting in an exceptionally high-purity product. Finally, the colostrum is freeze-dried to preserve its components in their natural form and extend shelf life.
