Colloidal Gold from Unimedica consists of 30 mg of very small gold particles in 1 litre of purified water. The gold used is high-purity 99.99% fine gold. Colloidal means "very finely dispersed".
The mixture (colloidal solution) is made with a low-voltage electrolysis procedure. The resulting gold ions are electrically charged particles. So colloidal gold should not be kept near electrical devices and magnets since this can cause the particles to discharge.
The ruby-red colour of the suspension is characteristic of colloidal gold. It arises due to the tiny particle size of the gold, in the nanometre range.
Each bottle of Colloidal Gold from Unimedica contains 200 ml suspension.
