Boron tablets from Unimedica contain high-dose organic boron. Boron is a basic ultra-trace element. It is present in the human body only in extremely small amounts and cannot be produced by the body itself. Boron (borax or in English: boron) is a naturally occurring trace element.

A welcome way to take the trace element — now with natural acacia fibre

Each Boron tablet contains 3 mg of elemental boron. The vegan tablets consist of natural acacia fibre as a carrier and sodium borate (borax). The tablets are intended to provide boron as part of the daily diet.

Boron is mainly found in plant foods and water

Plants need the rare metalloid to grow. Good sources of boron are therefore primarily found in plant-based foods such as cereal products, nuts, dried fruit or vegetables, but also in drinking water and mineral water.

Boron tablets can help improve supply of this trace element when needed. As boron accumulates in the body, the recommended dosage should not be exceeded.

Incredible - for joint pain
Many years ago, I had a severe flu and developed severe pain in my joints as a result. My joints became more and more sore and the pain was sometimes so bad that I was walking like an old woman in my early 30s. I even had pain when I was lying down. Finally, my sciatica was also affected for months and my SI joint was blocked. I was suspected of having ankylosing spondylitis. I found out about boron by chance and ordered it. What can I say? I wanted to go jogging on the third day, that's how great I felt. That was in September and now I have maybe 5% of the 100% pain in my hips left, but only when I have a heavy load or something. Thanks to this remedy I am finally feeling well again and it also gives me energy. I have recommended it to many people, but they prefer to stick with medicines that don't help at all or hardly help at all 🤷‍♀️ 2 other people I have recommended this to are also delighted. Boron re-mineralises the bones, increases energy and affects testosterone, but the amazing thing is that it "switches off" inflammation directly at the receptor, which is exactly what it feels like to me. Boron acts on two inflammatory receptors that trigger many diseases. I order many other things here that I take daily and every single product is great.

absolute miracle cure
I gave the bor to a friend who suffers from severe migraines, with attacks almost weekly and particularly bad during her period. Very good for tension headaches / migraines

Helps with joint pain
After a bout of flu, I had severe pain in my knees for a few months, so that I could hardly bear any weight, even sport was only possible because of the pain. I hardly ever write reviews, but here I have to share my experience. I had read about boron in the book 'Nutrient Therapy' by Dr Helena Orfanos-Boeckel (which is a great book). Then I read the reviews here and ordered it. After just 3 days I have virtually no more pain in my shoulder. I have had shoulder problems since 2020, with (gentle) strength training for 1.5 years it has got at least 50-60% better. With the boron, I'm almost pain-free or feel about 10% pain (if I strain myself too much, there's a little more pain, but it gets better very quickly). I still can't believe it! Simply brilliant! I've been taking it for 2 weeks now and the effect has lasted until now! I take 3 mg in the evening about 1-2 hours after dinner. Of course I continue to do my sport, lots of stretching exercises plus acupressure mat.

I have been taking Borax for 14 days and cannot yet say exactly whether it is good or bad. But I would like to know the price/performance ratio and the daily dosage. Na2B4O7 - 10 H2O is the formula of what is also offered as a powder or here as a tablet? My knowledge tells me that we should take about 3g and a little more of Borax per day. 3 g is definitely too much! One tablet usually contains 3 mg. You can increase to 3 tablets. I have also taken 5 tablets without any side effects. I had osteoarthritis in my knees for 2 - 3 years. Was pain-free after a few days and can now stamp my foot firmly on the ground again, which was not possible before. Regular shoulder pain after my strength training is also gone.

Boron helps with knee osteoarthritis, pain-free
I have been taking it since last year for my knee osteoarthritis, 3 tablets a day, and it helps my pain very well; sometimes it feels as if it has been blown away. It also helps well for Lyme disease pain. After a 60-day antibiotic course for Lyme left me in an appallingly poor state, with pain all over my body in muscles, tendons, knees, joints — so that I could hardly walk or stand upright — I, after a few weeks without boron and in desperation, first took 4 boron tablets, then increased to 5 tablets a day in the following days. And what can I say, I felt better day by day; the terribly severe knee pain went away, because boron is anti-inflammatory. Sometimes completely pain-free with 3–5 tablets a day. I can recommend boron to everyone. In addition I take milk thistle complex and artichoke, because the liver needs support after the long antibiotic course and the liver affects the whole body. And myo-inositol. At the beginning I also took horsetail (field horsetail) alongside it (that is an organic product from another manufacturer and can be found under 'Schachtelhalm' on Google). That is also very, very good for knee osteoarthritis because it contains silicon, which is important for the cartilage in the knee. Because of this I mostly walk pain-free and smoothly. Horsetail is strongly diuretic, as is artichoke, which means it supports the kidneys and you have to go to the toilet more often. Where I got the horsetail from, I also bought a 7-mushroom combo with medicinal mushrooms. I often also increase the dosage of capsules or tablets; that's individual. Last year I treated myself to a whole blood mineral analysis for €90; it showed that I have a massive boron deficiency and other minerals are deficient. For knee osteoarthritis I would always consider having that tested. You only notice an effect from 3 boron tablets per day. And I have the feeling that it also has effects on other things besides the knee. Boron also affects oestrogen, as it is needed for the production of oestrogen, and for the thyroid. Iodine is also important. I hope my review could provide valuable information for other people.

We men have to take at least 3 tablets, yes, and a maximum of 5 tablets, but women have to take at least one tablet and a maximum of 2 tablets. You can't recommend the same dosage for both sexes! because boron lowers oestrogen levels and women need high oestrogen levels. Low oestrogen levels are extremely harmful for women, just as high testosterone levels are extremely harmful for us men!

I take borax tablets in high doses and have experienced no side effects. Online I read that boron is good for testosterone levels and is also said to inhibit the breakdown of vitamin D. I can't judge any improvement, but I've noticed another effect. I'm no longer cold :) I've had the problem for several years that in winter and even in summer in certain situations my hands and feet get cold. Especially during a short winter stay outdoors I immediately feel cold and start to shiver. When I'm back somewhere warm it can take a long time before I warm up again. Once, when I measured the temperature of my feet even though I hadn't been outside, the thermostat showed "Lo" (I guess around 33–35 °C?!). Then I realised I had to do something about it. I went to the doctor and he wanted to take a blood sample. After the blood draw I started taking borax, but for other reasons. After a short time I noticed how warm I felt. This is the only dietary supplement that has really shown a strong effect for me to date. The blood results then actually showed that my iron level had also fallen compared with last time. I haven't been able to discuss how drastic that is with my doctor yet. We'll see what he says. However, I also take other supplements and the effect could be due to them. That's just what I suspect and it doesn't have to be 100% correct. So always plan to see a doctor. Best wishes :)
