NADH-Kapseln von Unimedica enthalten je Kapsel 50 mg NADH-Pulver. Durch die Verkapselung in veganen DRCaps® funktionieren NADH-Kapseln von Unimedica effizienter als flüssiges NADH oder NADH-Pulver. Die DRCaps® sind magensaftresistent und so wird der wertvolle Inhaltsstoff unbeschadet erst im Dünndarm freigesetzt.
NADH wird auch als Coenzym 1 bezeichnet. NADH ist ein energiereicher, biologischer Wasserstoff und die aktivierte Form von Niacin (Vitamin B3). Er wurde 1904 von britischen Chemikern erstmals nachgewiesen. Es handelt sich dabei konkret um Nicotinamid-Adenin-Dinucleotid (NAD) in seiner reduzierten Form, dem biologischen Wasserstoff (H). NADH kommt in den Zellen aller Lebewesen vor und ist an über 1.000 Stoffwechselprozessen beteiligt.
