Mediterranean power in drop form

Oregano oil from Unimedica contains the strength of thousands of oregano plants – arguably the most aromatic Mediterranean herb. Oregano is best known as a flavourful spice in Mediterranean cuisine, but it has also been valued since ancient times as a medicinal plant for a variety of internal and external uses. The plant contains a range of valuable constituents, such as the essential oil carvacrol. We have captured this in a highly concentrated form in the oregano oil. The convenient drops are suitable for both internal use and external applications such as massages. Oregano oil should always be used diluted!

Pure essential oil with 86% carvacrol

Oregano oil from Unimedica consists of pure essential oregano oil. This contains the essential oil carvacrol (86%). Carvacrol is also used in cosmetics because of its special properties. Thyme and bergamot also contain carvacrol.

Versatile uses

Oregano oil can be used internally for a comfortable stomach and externally for healthy-feeling skin. As a spice, oregano gives a Mediterranean flavour to a variety of dishes. If required, oregano oil may help when used diluted in water or added to massage oil, hair tonic or shampoo, to a full bath or a steam bath.

Where does oregano come from?

Oregano originally comes from the Mediterranean region, where it is a very important herb. The herbaceous member of the mint family, growing up to 50 cm high, is now widespread across almost all of Europe and in warm regions worldwide. The plant grows readily on poor soils, which makes it particularly hardy. Oregano oil is obtained by gentle steam distillation from the oregano plant, primarily using the delicate leaves and shoots.

Each bottle contains 10 ml of oregano oil.

Vegan, natural and free from additives

Oregano oil from Unimedica is pure essential oregano oil. In accordance with legal requirements, Unimedica oregano oil is free from colourings, preservatives, stabilisers, anti-caking agents such as magnesium stearate, and is non-GMO, lactose-free, gluten-free, gelatine-free and vegan.

extremely strong
I took 2 drops in approx. 400ml of water and it was much too strong. With one drop in approx. 400ml of water, it is also strong and unpleasant. Now I only take one drop in a large spoonful of fish oil, which balances out the strength of the oregano oil. The recommended dosage of 4 drops should be removed from the bottle and it should be noted that 1 drop should be taken extremely diluted or with oil.

Fast relief for infections
Oregano oil works very well against viruses and bacteria. I take 1–2 drops twice daily on coconut oil (otherwise it's too strong) and quickly get rid of colds that way.
