Unimedica's beta-carotene capsules are manufactured in Europe according to the patented Lyc-O-Beta® formula from natural beta-carotene and extra virgin olive oil. The beta-carotene in Lyc-O-Beta® is of natural origin and is extracted from the Blakeslea trispora fungus. The softgel capsules are soft and small and can be swallowed with ease.
The natural pigment beta-carotene gives a sun-kissed complexion all year round because it helps the skin to absorb sunlight. Beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A in the body. Due to the special formulation, Unimedica's beta-carotene capsules contain vitamin A directly in addition to beta-carotene, so it is immediately available to the body.
Vitamin A supports the eyes and the skin, as well as the immune system and iron metabolism. Iron is important for oxygen transport in the body and for energy metabolism.
The vitamin A and beta-carotene contained in Unimedica's beta-carotene capsules contribute to a more vital, well-cared-for appearance.
Unimedica's beta-carotene capsules are high-strength, with 25,000 IU beta-carotene, including 2,500 µg vitamin A per daily dose (1 capsule). They provide 312.5% of the EU recommended daily intake of vitamin A.
