Produktinformationen

See and look your best at any time of day thanks to vitamin A

Vitamin A drops from Unimedica are a simple, individually dosable way of meeting the daily requirement of this essential vitamin. Vitamin A (retinol) contributes to the maintenance of vision. It is known for this. However, it is equally important for maintaining normal skin and mucous membranes, for iron metabolism and the immune system. Its function in cell division supports the regeneration of the skin, among other things.

High-quality retinol for direct utilization in the body

Our vitamin A in drop form contains retinol, which is dissolved in high-quality, coconut-based MCT oil. This makes it easier for the body to absorb and process, as vitamin A is fat-soluble. As it is absorbed directly as vitamin A, the otherwise necessary conversion from the provitamin beta-carotene from food is no longer necessary. Tocopherol (vitamin E) protects the drops from the effects of oxygen and keeps the substance stable.

Why do we need vitamin A?

Vitamin A is a component of visual purple and the retina and is important for converting light into electrical impulses in nerve cells. It is needed for light-dark vision. But retinol is also of crucial importance for cell differentiation. It thus contributes to the development and functional maintenance of tissues such as the skin and mucous membranes. In addition to supporting the immune system, vitamin A has many other tasks in various bodily processes. For example, it promotes the absorption of iron in the body. Retinol is one of the essential nutrients we need to live.

Which foods contain vitamin A?

Vitamin A (retinol) is found in liver, meat, eggs, fish and dairy products such as cheese. Only provitamin A (beta-carotene) is found in plant foods. This is converted into vitamin A (retinol) in the body. Beta-carotene is mainly found in fruit and vegetables from the yellow-orange to red color spectrum such as carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, red peppers, apricots, mango, honeydew melon, tomatoes and beet. Green vegetables such as kale and spinach also contain beta-carotene.

When is additional vitamin A necessary?

Normally, healthy people can obtain an adequate supply of vitamin A from food. Even with a balanced diet, there is no risk of overdosing on natural retinol or beta-carotene. With a purely plant-based diet, care must be taken to ensure that foods containing beta-carotene are consumed in sufficient quantities and that fat (e.g. from vegetable oil) is consumed at the same time so that the body can convert it into bioavailable vitamin A. It is important that fat digestion and the thyroid gland function normally, as this is essential for the enzymatic conversion of beta-carotene into vitamin A.

For times of increased need and to counteract an undersupply due to personal circumstances or a very one-sided, vitamin-poor diet, vitamin A drops from Unimedica are recommended as an individual supplement.

I ordered the vitamin A drops because of my eye condition, as this is an important eye vitamin. I have been taking them for a long time and at my last eye examination my ophthalmologist was delighted with the good condition of my eyes. What more could you want?

Only positive effects so far!
I started with 3 drops daily in the morning with breakfast. After about 2 months I noticed that these drops had a positive effect on my eyes, no more crusting on my eye when I got up in the morning (I could hardly get my right eye open, it wasn't a nice feeling) and my vision also improved. I can see more clearly again, not perfectly, but certainly 60% better than before taking it. Amazing! I have also noticed that my skin has improved again, it helps a lot with dry skin and also with calluses (on my feet, for example). The lady at the chiropodist noticed last time that I hardly have any calluses any more. I also often mix 1-2 drops into my day cream, which also helps a lot. Now, after a few months, I have reduced the dosage as I no longer have any "construction sites". I now take it twice a week (3 drops with breakfast).

I think you have to keep taking it (similar to vitamin D3). If the vitamin A level decreases, the symptoms soon return. I had very, very dry eyes. So bad that my eyes were always crusty when I woke up in the morning and it was downright painful to open them. Then I took three drops every morning with breakfast for a few months and my eyes became "normal" again. I work a lot at the computer, so I had/have to deal with this problem all the time. When I stopped taking the drops, the symptoms came back after 3-4 months: very dry eyes and also very strong keratinisation of the feet. I then started taking these drops again, but reduced the dose. I now only take them once a week (3 drops) and still have no problems. Apparently my body uses quite a lot of vitamin A....

Take 3 drops sublingually, away from a meal. For the skin, I put 1 to 2 drops in my day and night cream, and 5 drops in a body lotion. It takes several weeks to see results, both for the eyes and the skin, but it's worth persisting!

As usual, Unimedica offers unbeatable quality at a favourable price. I am always enthusiastic about any product, but above all about the excellent quality. After just a short time of taking the vitamin A, I noticed an improvement in my eyesight, at least I was able to read some things on the ingredients list without glasses when shopping, a phenomenal result for me. I will definitely continue to take it and will have my eyes tested in a few months' time, but the improvement I feel is already great.

Vitamin A
I only recently learnt that if you take vitamin D3, you also need vitamin A. The body absorbs it better if you take both together. you should also take K2 and magnesium together, which is a very important combination. health is the most important thing. And with the products from Unimedia I am well served and confident.

No, of course not. These are not eye drops. Eye drops have a completely different composition and must be produced under sterile conditions, otherwise bacteria and germs can be transferred into the eye! Vitamin A improves vision again over time. Simply take 3 drops a day with a meal (vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin, so take it with fat). I would not put these drops directly into the eye. But they work well via food intake...

Enthusiasm
I am very grateful that this product is available to order here. It is very easy to dose yourself. After reading that some breakfast cereals in the USA are enriched with vitamin A, I simply drip 3 drops into my muesli. I notice how my eyes become dry less quickly in the evening. As far as I have been able to find out from books and other sources, it is important not only to pay attention to your vitamin D level, but also to keep an eye on the balance between vitamin A and D. Not forgetting vitamin K2 and E, of course. I recommend stocking up on good reading and not being swayed by preconceptions, especially when it comes to vitamin A. Vitamins and vital substances are an exciting topic and can only be beneficial for your health.

This is the first time I have swapped tablets for drops. These drops are much easier to take and can be dosed perfectly. One drop at a time comes out of the glass pipette in a well-formed shape. They have a neutral, pleasant flavour and do not feel greasy on the tongue. Compared to my previous vitamin A tablets from the health food shop, they are also cheaper if you convert the amount of drops that are in a bottle. I will definitely be switching more products to drops because they are so much easier to swallow. The bigger a tablet is, the more I have to choke it down.

I am of the opinion that my normal healthy diet does not contain the necessary substances. So I keep myself and my physical physical, mental and spiritual condition by adding your nutritional supplements. As I produce and market elderberry wine myself, I emphasise the importance of a good balanced, organic diet from a good source and a healthy lifestyle. Your products are organically clean and for me also important, they have a good price-performance ratio. The delivery always works quickly and smoothly.

Question
I have just ordered the Vitamin A because I have a deficiency. I would like to know how long the course of treatment lasts (3 drops a day for how long).

Vitamins A
Hello, I ordered this product to boost my immune system, for its positive effect on my eyesight. The price, packaging and delivery are very good; to announce the desired effects: it's too early Vitamin A optimises the use of vitamin D (especially in winter).

Good product
Easy to dose in drop form. I use it all the time and I notice a tiny change in my eyes, they are no longer so dry.

Great product
Another very good product from unimedica. I have been taking it for some time in combination with D3, K2 and magnesium. I haven't had a cold yet this winter.

Co-Factor
Vitamin D 3 requires vitamin A as a co-factor. Your eyes will be grateful for this.

Yes, that's true. Dr Schmiedel (a vitamin D expert who also writes good books on the subject) explained this to me. I once spoke to him personally and he said that many people have a vitamin D deficiency (which they have determined in the laboratory), but also an A deficiency, which is often not recognised. The simultaneous intake of both vitamins ensures that the effects of both are amplified.

Vitamin A
Until now, I have always taken vitamin A in tablet form until I discovered it here by chance. Vitamin A as a dietary supplement in curd form is certainly more convenient for many people to take than swallowing capsules. The best thing about these drops is that only natural products without additives are used, which is also good for vegans. These vitamins are good for maintaining normal skin, mucous membranes and eyesight. The normal iron metabolism is also stimulated. My conclusion: These vitamin A drops are easier to take than capsules, can be dosed very well and are well tolerated. Simply add to juice or water in the morning. I can already confirm slight positive changes and the price is also okay.

Helps very quickly
Wow what super vitamin A drops. I normally need reading glasses, but after taking them for a few days I can read small print again. I can highly recommend it to everyone for eye health.

Vitamin A drops
As my eyesight is now deteriorating somewhat, I wanted to try vitamin A. Whilst searching the internet, I came across the Unimedica product range. The price-performance ratio convinced me, so I ordered vitamin A drops as well as coenzyme Q 10.

Unfortunately no change!!!
I have been taking the drops for several months now. I don't notice any change at all. I ordered them because of the top reviews. Unfortunately I can't agree with them. What a pity! I won't be ordering them again. I have all the products from here. I am also satisfied with the delivery and service! I would like to make one comment: You always have to read the reviews.... what the product is suitable for. There is no description and recommendation /pity!!!!

Good for skin
My skin has generally already improved thanks to all the vitamins such as msm opc etc . But I have been taking these vitamin a drops for 1 week and have noticed a small improvement in my skin. Vitamin A is also said to be good for the eyes and I'm curious to see what I can expect in the long term.

Vitamin A
I am very satisfied. I wanted to ask if vitamin A can increase liver values over time? Thank you very much!

Yes, that can happen. But only if you take high doses for a long time or if you are a heavy smoker. I have a blood count done once a year, which also determines my vitamin A and D levels. My levels are both very good (I was previously deficient in both vitamins). I've been taking these drops for almost three years now and my liver values have always been top in the lab. But I don't smoke either. Incidentally, vitamin A and vitamin D have a synergistic effect (they reinforce each other and favour absorption). So if you have a D deficiency, you should perhaps combine vitamin A with it from time to time. For the first 6 months I always took three drops in the morning with breakfast (my eyes, skin and mucous membranes improved enormously). Now I only take it once a week, always three drops on a fixed day, which is enough for me as a maintenance dose. L.G. Kath
