With which homeopathic remedies can a caesarean section be avoided?

News

 by Dr Krishnamurthy

70–90% OF ALL CAESAREAN SECTIONS ARE UNNECESSARY. JUST THREE DOSES OF A HOMEOPATHIC REMEDY COULD REDUCE THE CAESAREAN SECTION RATE:

In a healthy pregnancy the unborn baby turns head-down 1–3 weeks before the expected date and rests with its head in the mother’s pelvis until labour begins, the cervix dilates and the baby is born. Caesarean sections usually occur when one of the following scenarios arises:

  • The baby does not turn even in the final days of pregnancy
  • The baby turns only partially and lies transverse in the mother’s abdomen
  • The baby turns but the head does not engage in the pelvis

70–90% of all caesarean sections are performed for these three reasons.

If in these cases Pulsatilla 1M is prescribed and the patient takes three doses of the remedy at intervals of 4–8 hours, a caesarean section can be avoided and the baby can be delivered normally.

In his "Handbook of Obstetrics" the American homeopath Dr A.W. Yingling writes:

"Malpresentations of the fetus can be corrected if Pulsatilla is administered before the amniotic sac ruptures or the baby's head is firmly engaged in the pelvis."

There is a women's clinic in Tamilnadu (Pollachi Road, Dharapuram) where no caesarean sections have been performed for years — thanks to the use of Pulsatilla and other remedies. The chief physician even advertises her clinic as a 'caesarean-free hospital'. The local Lions Club has officially confirmed this.

Dr K. Rajeswari, M.B.B.S., D.G.O., specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics, writes:

"I have already successfully treated 2 patients with Pulsatilla 1M, helping both women to smooth deliveries. Then a patient came for a check-up who had already delivered two healthy children spontaneously and without complications. The third baby, however, was still transverse a few weeks before delivery and we were already discussing the possibility of a caesarean section. At a second examination 10 days before the due date the baby was still transverse. I gave the patient three doses of Pulsatilla 1M and 10 days later the baby was born spontaneously, head first. There were no complications."
