Of course, it goes without saying that we should always try to preserve a tooth as much as possible. It must be our top priority to keep our teeth healthy with a balanced diet, good care and, if necessary, with homeopathy. I have written about toothache in my blog posts What to do for toothache and Toothache? Why Coffea cruda is often a good choice.
But sometimes, despite our best efforts, the unthinkable happens and we have to part with a beloved tooth. (However, if I were you I would play it safe and get a second or even third opinion — preferably from a dentist who works holistically.)
To this end, I was recently asked about certain homeopathic remedies that might be considered when a tooth must be extracted. Tooth extractions are surgical procedures. Therefore you should definitely follow the specific homeopathic treatment protocols I report on here.
Calendula tincture for rinsing
Another option for extraction would be diluted Calendula officinalis mother tincture. Put 5–10 drops of Calendula into a small glass of water and use it as a mouth rinse. Calendula is known to relieve pain, staunch bleeding and support wound healing. Typically the mouth rinse is gently swished around the mouth and then spat out or swallowed.
Calendula is therefore another homeopathic remedy that should not be missing from a well-stocked home medicine cabinet. I have compiled interesting information for you about external use for disinfection here. It has also proven successful in preventing infections after surgical procedures.
Our homeopathic heritage
Dear readers, at the moment we hear a lot in the media about how important it is to build wealth across generations. But what could be more important than promoting HEALTH across generations?
I've said it so often, but it's worth repeating: If you are well-read in homeopathy, you can make a big difference in the lives of your children and grandchildren. By passing your knowledge of homeopathy on to them, you ensure that their children and grandchildren will also be able to look after their own health with the help of homeopathy. Imagine... your great-great-grandchildren could be born into a world of health self-sufficiency using the same gentle, effective and safe homeopathic remedies that have stood the test of time.
This is what I mean by generational health.

But don't just take my word for it! To illustrate my point, I would like (with permission, of course) to share a report I recently received from a proud grandmother.

"I love helping people with homeopathy. I can't begin to say what it has meant and still means to my family. My children and grandchildren love it too. My 11-year-old granddaughter rushed into my office a few weeks ago and said, 'Grandma, quick, I need Hypericum!'
My first thought was that she might have a broken finger, but I was wrong. One of the young girls from our community had 'shooting' pains in her back and was very distressed. There were many tears!
My granddaughter said: 'I know that Hypericum is good for stabbing pains!' I needn't mention that I was very impressed.
It turned out the girl was under great stress. Her grandmother was dying but lived far away. So I encouraged my granddaughter to calm down. Then we took a little time and looked into the situation more closely.
I showed her in the repertory that Nat mur is good for grief and is also used for stabbing pains. My granddaughter gave the girl Nat mur and within five minutes they were both smiling again!
I can't imagine anything that could make a grandmother happier than seeing her children use homeopathy to help others! My granddaughter said: 'I knew we could help her!'

Isn't that impressive? After reading stories like this, I am repeatedly convinced of the powerful future of homeopathy — and of the future of humanity.
Janie and her granddaughter are a perfect example of health care across generations. Are you already on board? Homeopathy helps — tell others!
Warmly,
Yours
