You're probably familiar with the saying 'through thick and thin'? Well, then Kalium muriaticum is certainly the cell salt to think of when you find yourself on the 'thick' side of that saying.
It's a difficult task for the body to cleanse itself when the bodily fluids become too viscous (thick and sticky).
For example, if the blood becomes too thick and blood clotting is impaired, Kali mur can help correct that condition so the liver can properly cleanse and regenerate the blood.
If mucus becomes viscous (for instance with colds) and leads to catarrh or bronchitis, Kali mur can tackle the problem at the root and stimulate the body's natural processes to remove the mucus.
Kali mur also plays an important role in the production of hydrochloric acid, so it is an important factor for healthy digestion.
As you can see, Kali mur can be used for many different complaints. Today, however, I'd like to write about the use of Kali mur for burns.
It was a few years ago when my mother accidentally opened a pressure cooker too early. If you've ever used a pressure cooker, you'll likely gasp in horror at this point. If you're not familiar with such a thing, just imagine one of those volcanoes used in school chemistry class: super-hot material hurled into the air with great force — only in this case it literally flew around my mother's head.
She suffered severe burns! If you can call it luck at all, it was only because my mother was wearing glasses and at least her eyes were protected. The rest of her face was completely scalded.
My mother called me immediately. Understandably, she was in shock and couldn't read the small print on her homeopathic first-aid kit. So I knew those remedies wouldn't help her at that moment.
Instead I instructed her to find her bottle of Kali mur D6 — a larger bottle with larger print that she could read even in her distressed state — and to take a few tablets every five minutes until I could get to her. Why so often? Because the situation was pretty serious.
The result was astonishing and even a little shocking. As severe as my mother's burns were, at no point did she develop blisters on her face. The Kali mur had helped her body deal with this potentially catastrophic accident and heal itself.
There are many other uses for Kali mur, but they would be beyond the scope of this blog. But you can rest assured that I will always keep Kali mur in the house. And you should too!
Spread the word! Not only does homeopathy help, the cell salts do as well.
Warm regards

P.S. As they say, "All good things must come to an end." That's true, because with this blog post we have reached the end of my series on the cell salts.
