Under the motto “Homeopathy – individualised medicine for patients of all ages” important European experts met in Vienna from 17 to 19 November 2016 to discuss current scientific findings, practical experience and challenges in the field of homeopathy.
With around 190 presentations an ambitious and extensive programme was offered at the congress venue:
Day one, on the theme “Homeopathy in paediatrics and the treatment of young animals”, provided insights, among others, into the treatment of ADD/ADHD, infectious diseases and homeopathy as an alternative to antibiotic therapy.
The second day was under the motto “Homeopathy in adulthood and in adult animals”. Focus areas included oncology, chronic and acute conditions and homeopathic drug provings.
Day three centred on the theme “Homeopathy in older age for humans and animals”. In parallel an interesting programme was offered for pharmacists on the specifics of manufacturing homeopathic medicinal products.
The weekend was very impressive and we were very pleased about the presence of several authors from our own organisation, such as Tim Couzens, Heiner Frei, Peter Gregory and Frans Kusse. During the congress there were repeated opportunities to talk with speakers and to discuss forthcoming projects.
