Since the American homeopath Melissa Assilem brought the mother remedies into the homeopathic world with her book, the “gifts of the mother” have secured an important place in the materia medica, and anyone who discovers them will not want to be without them. They are also the “gifts of the embryo”, of the developing child in the womb, which together perform the miracle of pregnancy through to birth.
So-called mother remedies are those homeopathic medicines derived from human body tissue that is related to pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding.
