Overexcitability and exaltation of the Piperaceae are so pronounced in this case example of Cubeba that the young patient, through her irritating intensity, loses touch with her peer group. She, in turn, compensates the feeling of isolation and helplessness within the pattern of the Lepra miasm with yet more compulsive cheerfulness. Emotional arousal from anxiety or anger provokes episodes of urticaria in the patient.
