If you believe that Lyme disease cannot be treated with homoeopathy, you can ignore this post. But if, like me, you know that homoeopathy has cured many cases of cholera, dysentery, mononucleosis, streptococcal infections, influenza and many other infections, then you can learn here about Lyme disease and homoeopathy. I am happy to share my knowledge about this illness with you.
I will not address treatment of chronic borreliosis, because that must in any case be treated individually by an experienced homoeopath. But I have seen many cases healed thanks to good homoeopathic treatment.
Tick bite — now what?
Let’s start right at the beginning, at the moment of the tick bite. Follow current recommendations and remove the tick immediately. Put the tick in a small glass and fill it with high-proof vodka, rectified spirit or brandy. Label the jar with the name, date and the part of the body where the tick was found. Should everything else fail (which is unlikely), a homoeopathic remedy can be made from the tick itself. This method is known as isopathy, but it works according to principles comparable to homoeopathy. I will return to this topic in more detail later. For now you can store your tick away.
I run the risk of getting ahead of myself: so, even before you remove the tick, take the first dose of Ledum palustre C200. There are differing opinions about how often homoeopathic remedies should be taken, but I recommend the protocol I learned many years ago and have since used very successfully on myself and my family. Even Buster, our cheeky office dog, has benefited from it many times.

Step 1
Start with Ledum palustre C200: on the first day take the remedy every three hours, then twice daily for a week. After that take it once weekly for a month.
That is probably overcautious, but it’s worth it to be on the safe side. Ledum 200 is the most important remedy for all animal bites.
In my experience this measure is 100% effective for tick bites that are no more than a few weeks old. We live in the countryside, have a lot of wildlife and many creeping animals, and our area is known as a mecca for ticks.
If I suspected that someone in my family had an older, longer-standing case of Lyme disease [1], I would in any case apply Steps 2 and 3 after the first dose of Ledum. Step 2 can be omitted as long as the tick is discovered and removed within the first two to three days after the bite.
Step 2
Aurum arsenicosum 200 is a principal remedy for toxic infections and a tick bite belongs in this category. Further information on dosage and potency of the remedy can be found here https://www.narayana-verlag.de/spektrum-homoeopathie/d-oder-c-potenz-das-ist-hier-die-frage.
Step 3
With older infections it is important to take every precaution because the disease has already established itself. In these cases the appropriate nosode is indicated, prepared from the tick itself: it is known as Borrelia 30 or Lyme Nosode 30. It is taken in addition to the other remedies.
The Borrelia nosode is taken once daily for three days – three doses in total – and then discontinued. The protocol states that the treatment should be repeated every few months if symptoms persist.
Older cases of borreliosis may also present with arthritis, chronic fatigue, tingling, dizziness and many other symptoms. These accompanying conditions should be treated separately with homoeopathy, in combination with the protocol described above.
How effective are these measures? So far I have not seen a single case of borreliosis as long as Step 1 is applied.
For infections that go back further it depends on the circumstances: how deep-seated the disease is, how many antibiotics and other medications have been given, and how strong the patient’s vital force is.
All in all I have witnessed many cures among my clients and students.
Okay, this is all super short, super simple and really useful. If you know someone who could benefit from this information, please pass it on!
Homoeopathy helps!
Warmly,
Yours

[1] When I wrote my blog about Lyme disease three years ago, I could not have guessed that diagnostics regarding this illness would change so fundamentally. By now there are people who believe they have suffered from borreliosis for more than 30 years or even inherited it from their parents. Back then I meant by ‘older’ patients those who may have become ill about six months earlier. This article refers to acute cases and not to what is now understood as chronic borreliosis.
