Peter Fisher died following a tragic accident in London on 15 August 2018 at the age of
67.
Peter Fisher was one of Britain’s best-known homeopathic doctors and physician to Queen Elizabeth.

Peter Fisher, President of the Faculty of Homeopathy and physician to Queen Elizabeth, has died
On the death of Dr Peter Fisher, President of the Faculty of Homeopathy, United Kingdom
Dr Fisher, 67, was Head of Research at the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine, the largest research institute for integrated medicine in Europe. According to reports, he was fatally injured in a bicycle accident on 15 August 2018 near the hospital.
As a specialist in homeopathy and rheumatology, he published a number of research reports on homeopathy and other complementary and alternative therapies.
He was a graduate of the University of Cambridge, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, chair of the World Health Organization (WHO) Working Group on Homeopathy and a member of the WHO expert committee on traditional and complementary medicine.
Greg White, Chief Executive of the Faculty of Homeopathy, published the following farewell to Dr Fisher on the Faculty's Facebook page:
“I do not exaggerate when I say that with Peter we have lost an irreplaceable talent, a true giant across every aspect of his varied professional life – he was a doctor, researcher, academic and tireless advocate of clinical homeopathy. This is truly a great loss for his family and our community.”
Mark Taylor, Chief Executive of the Society of Homeopaths, said: “For many years Peter was the most prominent homeopath in Britain. We will miss his tireless energy, his academic credibility and his passion for homeopathy – not just here in Britain, but in the homeopathic community worldwide.”
The deputy chair, Dr Gary Smith, will take over the leadership of the Faculty on an interim basis.
