Patricia Le Roux

Patricia Le Roux was one of France's leading homeopaths, who devoted herself wholeheartedly to this method of healing. She was a true pioneer and explored many little-known areas of homeopathy.

Below is an obituary by Ton Nicolai, the President of the ECH:

Dear friends of homoeopathy,

some of you may already have heard, others not. Yesterday Patricia Le Roux passed away.

It is hard to believe that Patricia is no longer with us. We will never forget her dynamic, deeply felt commitment to homoeopathy, her family and friends. She was a loving mother, a devoted friend, a physician, a homeopath, a musician, a choir leader, an author and a manager. As far as homoeopathy is concerned, she served it as a board member at national (SNMHF) and European (ECH) level, wrote books and gave seminars. She had tireless energy, and many of us were astonished at the workload she handled.

Last Saturday she was hit by a motor scooter in Paris and taken to hospital. She had severe headaches and later lost consciousness. She died of a cerebral haemorrhage.

Let us hold in our thoughts all that she meant to us, her family and her friends...

With best regards,

Ton Nicolai

About Patricia Le Roux

Mother of four and a paediatrician, Patricia Le Roux ran a homoeopathic practice in Marseille. In 1995 she completed her homoeopathic training at the Medical University of Marseille and subsequently taught this subject there regularly.
She learned classical homoeopathy from Didier Grandgeorge, President of the School of Classical Homeopathy in Fréjus.
Le Roux herself regularly worked as an emergency paediatrician in the paediatric outpatient clinic of the largest university teaching hospital, Hospital Timone (CHU), in Marseille.
Patricia Le Roux chaired the "Europe and Ethics" ethics committee within the university hospital in Marseille. She was also very active in medical representation, serving as Vice-President of the French National Association of Physicians Practising Homeopathy (SNMHF) and at European level as Secretary General (2000-2011) of the European Committee for Homeopathy (ECH).
She was the author of numerous homoeopathic works — a pioneering contribution for the future.
