“Not tonight, honey… I have a headache!”
Severe headaches can bring us to our knees, so much so that nothing works anymore: cooking dinner, going to the cinema, watching TV, sitting in the garden, playing with the children, watching the sunset or… well, that one either.
Many years ago Sandra suffered from severe headaches. She wasn’t chronically congested or allergic, but very often had intense pain behind the eyes, between the eyes, above the eyes and below the eyes – the whole forehead and sinus area was painful.
But they weren’t typical sinus headaches. They seemed to come out of nowhere for no reason and then disappear again. Until one day Sandra noticed that the headaches always occurred when the air pressure changed. She could almost set her watch by it. From then on she became more specific with her partner and turned him down with the words: “Not tonight, honey – can’t you see the weather’s changing?” Poor Sandra had become a walking bedroom barometer!
Unfortunately Sandra lived on the coast, where the weather is very changeable. It was maddening, because the weather really changed every other day and so did Sandra’s headaches. Two to three times a week she had the most severe headaches; she literally couldn’t do anything. She tried aspirin and paracetamol, but nothing helped.
At that time there was an over-the-counter medicine in Canada known as “222”, containing caffeine and codeine. Now Sandra had found something that really worked. As soon as her headaches became unbearable she would drive over the bridge to Canada, buy the medicine and smuggle it home. At least she could get some relief.
But of course she worried about what would happen to her body if she took codeine so often. On the other hand, she saw no other way to escape the headaches.
Then Sandra discovered homeopathy. More precisely, she discovered Kali bichromicum C30. After three doses the headaches were gone!
Two days later they were back, however. As soon as the air pressure changed Sandra had intense head pressure again. It felt as if her eyes were being literally crushed.
She took another dose of Kali bi C30 and that was that. The pain never returned!
You read that right. Sandra confirmed to me that after the two doses of Kali bi C30 her headaches disappeared forever. With a single homeopathic remedy Sandra very neatly killed two birds with one stone.
She was freed from her years of headaches. Also, she no longer has to fear the side effects of the strong medications. (By the way: caffeine/codeine medicines are no longer sold in Canada. I wonder why?)
So remember: Kali bichromicum C30, every 1–3 hours for headaches caused by changes in air pressure. Take as long as necessary until the pain eases. Bear in mind that there are millions of different kinds of headache. Well, maybe that number is a little exaggerated, but there are certainly a lot.
Important: the homeopathic remedy must always match the headache; if it does, not much can go wrong.
