Louis Klein in Interview with Heidi Brand

Louis Klein is one of the world’s leading homoeopathic physicians of the older generation; he is a lecturer, teacher and professional consultant in homoeopathy. He has worked for over 30 years as a homoeopathic doctor and researcher and since 1984 has been a member of the English Society of Homoeopaths (Society of Homoeopaths in England). He began his homoeopathy studies with George Vithoulkas and has since learned from many other masters of homoeopathy. He obtained his homoeopathy diploma from the London College of Classical Homoeopathy.

Louis has the ability to confront even the most difficult cases as a homoeopathic physician. He conveys his extensive medical skills with clarity, depth and humour; his style is interactive and friendly. Louis Klein's experience and openness enable students of every level to have a special and instructive experience.
He is the author of the books "Miasms and Nosodes" and "Clinical Focus".

The following recordings were made at the 2nd Cancer Congress in Badenweiler ("Homoeopathy in Cancer and Other Severe Pathologies", 23–26 September 2010).

In this interview Louis Klein explains the significance of the miasm, as well as the origin and development of the miasm concept. He describes his approach to cases, explains his choice of remedies and briefly outlines the cause of disease and its relevance for homoeopathic treatment. Klein also speaks about the influence of viruses on the human body, especially from an energetic perspective. He discusses antiviral remedies and their commonalities and explains his view on the source of an illness: what he thinks when he hears: "I have never felt better since....".
In the interview Louis Klein also defines what is understood by nosodes, as well as their development and application in homoeopathy. He explains why and when a nosode should be given. Furthermore, we learn his opinion on vaccinations and he shows his method of remedy selection in cases of adverse vaccine reactions. Klein presents his vision for the future of homoeopathy and points out the challenges the discipline must face, especially if it is ultimately to be accepted by conventional medicine (which he himself assumes it will).
