Smiling through torment until burnout: Ephedra as a doping and flu remedy.
In the examination of the amphetamine-containing medicinal plant Ephedra sinica, alongside the familiar issues associated with stimulants, the cold symptoms known from folk medicine and the vasoconstriction caused by ephedrine were also observed. A case report demonstrates the homeopathic application in people who function under the most difficult living conditions by mobilising their last reserves of energy and dissociating their feelings.
