Heart-warming homeopathy for angina pectoris

Today's post comes from the heart. To be precise, it's about angina pectoris.

Those of you who, unfortunately, already know this illness from personal experience will know how worrying it can be. Angina (angina pectoris) refers to sudden attacks of chest pain that may radiate into the shoulder and arms. They are caused by temporary disturbances in the heart's blood supply. The symptoms are often taken as precursors to a heart attack, especially if the patient has previously had a heart attack or stroke.

Interestingly, heartburn can feel like angina and vice versa. A clear diagnosis is important to know exactly what's going on; once you know what you're dealing with, you can act accordingly.

I have personal experience with heart disease and have written about it several times. Now I would like to introduce homeopathic remedies that can also help with stubborn cases of angina.

Take, for example, Howard, an 89-year-old relative of mine who has suffered from heart disease for years. He had been taking Lachesis C200 every other day to ease the palpitations and shortness of breath that troubled him after a heart attack. He also took Crataegus mother tincture, five drops twice a day. That was my recommendation.

Recently, however, he did have a stroke and subsequently experienced angina regularly. I should mention that the stroke was so mild that even two cardiologists in two university hospitals had difficulty classifying the symptoms. Was it really a stroke or something else? During the attack he was given Aconitum C200 — repeated at home every few minutes and again in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. I believe this is why he was spared a severe stroke.

Although his homeopathic treatment had stabilised him, the doctors, fearing complications, persuaded him to undergo conventional treatment.

For several months Howard took glyceryl trinitrate. It gave him relief for a week or two, but then the pain — as often happens with conventional drugs — returned more strongly and he had to keep increasing the dose to control the symptoms.

The only recommendation from the cardiologist was to wear a glyceryl trinitrate patch all day. (Is that based on the assumption that the blood is lacking glyceryl trinitrate?)

This approach is exactly the opposite of homeopathy. Instead of helping, conventional medicines move the patient further away from solving the problem or achieving a cure and put them on a toxic path.

By contrast, homeopathic remedies need to be taken less frequently and have no toxic side-effects. They often also relieve accompanying symptoms that the patient does not necessarily associate with their illness. In Howard's case, after taking his heart drugs he experienced weakness, sleep disturbances, irritability and was at times confused and anxious.

In other words: while he dutifully took his medications, his quality of life had gone.

For this reason he turned back to me.

I wish he had spared himself the unnecessary suffering and come straight to me!

I recommended the angina protocol to Howard: Cimicifuga C30, to be taken twice daily.

On the evening of the first day (after the second dose) he had no angina for the first time in three months and his blood pressure stabilised.

He documented his symptoms and every day an email arrived from him saying: "NO ANGINA TODAY!" or "Another wonderful day!!!" His happy exclamation marks reached me daily. I was not surprised, as I had expected such a good result.

Howard continued taking the homeopathic remedy twice a day; on the tenth day he reported slight chest pain, but nowhere near as bad as before. He was not worried. Days eleven and twelve were excellent again.

Sometime at the start of his treatment with Cimicifuga C30 he ceremonially tore the glyceryl trinitrate patch off his shoulder. He had realised it simply wasn't helping him. Instead he had found something much better, of which no cardiologist in the USA was aware.

Because of his history (stroke), Howard now takes Cimicifuga C30 twice daily and Lachesis C200 every other day. He also takes five drops of Crataegus mother tincture twice a day.

His sleep is now restful. For him there are no more lonely, anxiety-filled nights. No daytime exhaustion worrying about another lost night.

Success stories like this continually encourage me to bring homeopathy to as many people as possible. You too can help — within your family and circle of friends. Be brave and see for yourself how people rediscover life.
