Eleanor Pigby

News

 Eleanor_Pigby.jpg

Hi, it’s me again! Buster, the cheeky office dog.

I simply have to tell you that I have a new friend!

She is sooo sweet. She’s about my size, but somehow different. She’s incredibly pink and, for a dog, a bit chubby. She doesn’t bark either, but that doesn’t bother me, because I really like her.

Her name is Eleanor Pigby.

(My owner laughs every time she hears the name. I don’t understand why, although she explained it has something to do with the Beatles – whoever they are.)

Anyway, Eleanor’s owner Audrey had her ‘spayed’ at the vet. I don’t really understand why. She wasn’t ill at all!

But they still took her to the vet. I heard it had something to do with her being too aggressive when she was in heat. I’m not sure why. If I get too hot I just lie down and sleep. But with Eleanor Pigby that doesn’t seem to be so simple...Homoeopathie-fuer-Tiere-Francis-Hunter.14789.jpg

This ‘spaying’ seems to be a big thing. Eleanor is usually a bundle of energy and always on the go, but after that she became very quiet and withdrawn. It was really odd! She normally follows her owner everywhere, but when she came home from the vet she just wanted to be alone.

I think she was in pain.

The vet had given her allopathic painkillers. But Audrey works with my owner and I’ll tell you, those painkillers went straight in the bin! My owner reminded Audrey that homeopathic remedies work just as well for animals as they do for people!

My owner said that if Eleanor Pigby was in pain, Hypericum C200 would help. She should be given it every few hours. If the pain is directly from the incision, you can also give her Staphysagria C200 – also every few hours. (If you don’t believe me, you can read about it yourself. My owner has already written about it.)

The vet had warned that Eleanor might suffer from constipation after the operation, so my owner also said that Nux vomica could relieve the constipation if taken twice a day.

Luckily Audrey had all the remedies she needed in her medicine cabinet. (I think it’s very clever of her to be prepared for all possible health problems her family might have.) Eleanor is completely mad about food and lapped up the homeopathic pellets Audrey gave her off the floor.

The next evening Eleanor was back to her old self. She played, jumped up on the sofa and behaved normally – and all without any allopathic painkillers! She had a little constipation (probably from the medicines the vet had given her), but Nux vomica sorted it out in no time. See? My owner’s protocols work for animals just as well as for people.

My owner would now say: "Please tell others about it!"

(I’m really lucky she’s my owner, aren’t I?)
