Review of the Psycho Congress from 8–10 March 2013
More than 500 homeopaths from 32 different countries took part in this unique event. It was a meeting point for the international homeopathy movement with an intensive atmosphere of exchange and openness.
Leading homeopaths from around the world such as Jan Scholten, Rajan Sankaran, Louis Klein, Jonathan Hardy, Farokh Master, Mahesh Gandhi and Michal Yakir presented their particular approaches to treating mental disorders at this congress. Jan Scholten presented for the first time his discoveries regarding the overarching structure of the plant kingdom, illustrated with case examples in this field. The brilliant thinker Rajan Sankaran demonstrated the Sensation Method for mental disorders. The experienced psychiatrist Mahesh Gandhi spoke about obsessive–compulsive disorders and their homeopathic treatment. Jonathan Hardy spoke about mammalian remedies in the treatment of addiction and eating disorders. Louis Klein presented striking cases of panic attacks, anxiety and sleep disorders and showed many unusual remedies, including nosodes. The eminent clinician Farokh Master vividly conveyed his experience in the homeopathic treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. The homeopath and botanist Michal Yakir showed how botanical classification can be used as a prescribing basis in homeopathy.
