Definitely worth reading!
"Like wood floating on water" is not only the title of her book but also reflects the fundamental thinking of Gertrud Pysall. She expressively describes the path she has found to harmonious co-operation, to the greatest possible understanding - not only between humans and horses. She also indirectly and unequivocally answers the question that is often asked about the development of Motiva: "Why you?" Only a person with such a deep desire coupled with her inquiring mind and her strength can make such earth-shattering discoveries. The book is captivating and fascinatingly written, a great insight into her life's work! Definitely worth reading!

Written from the heart
Gertrud Pysall's new book is written from the heart. She shares her experiences, personal stories and research with us. I had the honour of getting to know Gertrud personally. I have attended several courses in Motiva with her. This woman has a huge amount of knowledge and a special gift for dealing with horses. She doesn't teach training, but the horses' mother tongue. I can warmly recommend both the books and the courses. If you work with horses, you should speak their language and see them as friends. Not as sports equipment! Best wishes from Switzerland

Absolutely worth reading!
Another book by Gertrud Pysall that I devoured. In this new book, she shares her life and experiences with us. The book is very touching and tells the story of an exciting personality who is probably one of the few real horse people on this planet. Like wood floating on water - isn't that exactly the feeling we all strive for? Be it in riding, in dealing with horses and people or simply in life? The book is not just an autobiography. It is also a book that encourages us to scrutinise our own actions and existence and to examine whether my life makes me happy and content.
