Ayursana frankincense capsules Boswellia serrata contain the fine aromatic premium frankincense extract from India. The product contains 65% boswellic acid.

Harvesting takes place in the typical season from March/April. After the first bark incision a basic resin exudes. It is scraped off after 2–3 weeks. Only then does the tree secrete the highest quality resins. This quality is highly valued in Indian and Oriental cultural circles. Therefore, harvests from the second tapping are preferred. After a few months the frankincense trees enter a resting period. Harvesting ceases and the trees can recover and regenerate until the next harvest.
