The manufacturer states:
Food supplement made from herbs with plant secondary metabolites (polyphenols).
Tulsi - Ocimum sanctum, syn. Ocimum tenuiflorum - is a plant known as holy basil, an annual growing up to 1 m high with many finely haired branches and stems that become woody at the base, bearing spikes 6–8 cm long with white to reddish flowers.
In Ayurvedic practice, the leaves, seeds and root are used. The powder from the leaves, finely and gently milled in our production (below 40°C), comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan Fair Trade and organic projects.
According to Ayurveda, this product corresponds, on the level of the harmonious balance of the doshas*, to the balance of the six tastes. It provides the taste qualities pungent and bitter.
* Doshas are Ayurvedic principles that have no equivalent in modern science.
