World athlete with a plant-based diet
For a long time, animal products were considered very valuable and important in the diet of top athletes. However, a diet containing many animal products has also been shown to have negative consequences. They often give quick results. In the long term, however, there is a risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Heart attacks, strokes and gout should not be the result of sporting success. But how can an athlete eat healthily? With the help of this book, I have come to understand that animal-based nutrition is good and right when consumed in moderation. However, there are also disadvantages to eating too much. As an active cyclist, I have been studying healthy nutrition for a very long time. When I turned the first few pages on holiday, I couldn't put the book aside.
