The Super K Complex Vitamin K1 & K2 capsules from Fairvital combine different forms of vitamin K.

The vitamin K group comprises several compounds with a common structural element. Three of these vitamin K compounds are combined synergistically in this product:

  • Vitamin K1, which occurs mainly in leafy green vegetables, algae and vegetable oils.
  • MK-4, the most rapidly absorbed form of K2.
  • Vitamin K2 MK-7, which has a very long half-life in the body.

The capsules are free from magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.

To prevent stroke or cardiovascular problems
I take this product as a preventive measure, to reduce the risk of stroke, hypertension or heart problems, the latter often being linked to calcification of the arteries, which then lose their elasticity and integrity. People often limit themselves to the k2 mk7 form, but I think it's preferable to take the complex that combines these three forms of vitamin K for optimum effectiveness. I used to take an equivalent complex from Iherb, but I find that Narayana is far superior in terms of quality, without the magnesium stereate or titanium dioxide found in other competitors and also in many products sold in pharmacies.

I recently developed so-called petechiae (pin-sized haemorrhages in the skin). Then I did some research and read that it happens more often with age and that it is supposed to be a vitamin K1 deficiency. As I take K2 for vitamin D3 anyway, I ordered this combination preparation. I also took broccoli sprout extract to support this, as there were already quite a few spots. And lo and behold, the petechiae are healing, turning brown and slowly disappearing.
