The sunflower wholegrain bread in a tin is, for food-law reasons, labelled with a shelf life of up to 2 years. However, this type of tinned bread has been shown to last much longer. There are long-term tests in which tinned bread was still in perfect condition after 20 and in some cases even over 30 years.
