The focus of the first issue is on psychological abnormalities in children – from early childhood anxiety and restlessness to ADHD, from aggressive behavioural disorders to the various forms of autism.
Many case examples demonstrate methodological particularities of homeopathy in children as well as the relationships between certain remedy families and child psychiatric conditions.
Examples include 'butterfly' remedies for ADHD or the lanthanides for autism and reading-and-spelling difficulties (dyslexia). The repertoire of homeopathic practice is expanded by "small remedies" such as Anantherum or Gallicum acidum and by newly tested remedies such as fenoterol, ozone or placenta.
The names Louis Klein, Massimo Mangialavori, Rajan Sankaran, Anne Schadde, Jan Scholten and many other renowned authors stand for the quality of this issue.

Each issue of SPEKTRUM is intended to provide, visually and in content, a readable, up-to-date overview of a specific topic and thereby expand and supplement the existing literature in the fields of materia medica, clinical practice and methodology. The three issues planned for 2010 cover the following focal topics: drugs, miasms, birds. With this concept SPEKTRUM DER HOMÖOPATHIE addresses experienced homeopaths as well as curious beginners.
