St. John's wort is a plant known from antiquity and is now one of the best researched medicinal herbs in natural medicine. Its name comes from the fact that it starts flowering around the feast day of St. John the Baptist. The yellow flowers of St. John's wort contain the red colouring hypericin, the socalled John's blood, as well as additional valuable ingredients such as flavonoids and bioflavones.

Each capsule contains 66 mg St. John's wort extract, corresponding to 792 mg St. John's wort powder, including 0.198 mg natural hypericin, highly bioavailable.
