Produktinformationen
The manufacturer writes:
With Samhain the old year ends and the new one begins. On this special night the veils between our world and the Otherworld dissolve.
Samhain is a festival of the ancestors – a feast of souls. It offers space to honour our ancestors, to thank them and to ask them for support. At the same time we can consciously let go of old patterns and burdens from the ancestral line that we do not wish to carry on.
Nature has withdrawn, its forces resting safely in the earth. November brings silence and invites us to pause, look inward and embrace withdrawal. It is a time to surrender to change with trust and to accept the darkness as part of the cycle.
On 1 November graves are decorated. Relatives and friends remember the deceased, visit the cemeteries and light candles as a sign of their bond.
Included plants: juniper, blackthorn, sanicle, mugwort, etc.
Application
Choose a draught-free location, use a flat, level coaster and supervise the burning of your candle. Ensure the wick is trimmed as necessary and that the drip tray is clean (!).
The candles burn down with a delicate lattice pattern — this is intentional.
Remove the band before lighting and follow the instructions printed on it carefully.
After several hours' burning it may occur that melting parts of the rim structure cause the drip tray to overflow. To prevent this, we recommend extinguishing the candle and allowing it to cool beforehand, or removing the rim.
