By using the distilled water aquaionic® the tendency of silver to adhere is reduced, so that more elemental silver remains in the solution. Silionic® - colloidal silver therefore displays a stronger colour.
Important: The ratio of ions to particles shifts in favour of the silver ions. The higher proportion of active silver ions results in increased efficacy.

Ionic colloidal silver sold under the brand name Silionic® contains a higher proportion of active positively charged silver ions! Colloidal silver solutions from Medionic® contain no additives!
Since 2002 we have been producing silver solutions of the highest quality. The extensive experience gained allows us to manufacture highly pure (i.e. additive-free) colloidal silver in a range of concentrations - with an optimal ratio of positively charged ions to particles.

Why do we call it "ionic colloidal silver"?
The actually active component of any silver solution is positively charged silver ions (cations), which are always present in electrolytically produced silver solutions. Experiments in earlier years showed that pure colloidal silver made by stirring silver powder into water produces virtually no effects. In contrast, almost all medical and technical research is focused on the effect of the silver ions.

Shelf life: In principle colloidal silver cannot go bad, as germs do not survive in silver solutions. However, its effect gradually diminishes from the outset. This behaviour is partly due to the decreasing charge of the particles. It can also lead to partial deposition of silver on the walls of the container, which of course leads to losses in concentration. Therefore it is advisable to use the freshest dispersions possible. When stored correctly it is usable for at least 6 months. After that it is advisable either to use a fresh silver solution or to increase the amount used accordingly.

Storage: Finished colloidal silver should primarily be protected from electromagnetic fields. So do not place it in the refrigerator or on a loudspeaker or computer etc.
Protection against radiation such as mobile phones, radar etc. is generally hardly possible. However, no negative influence from this has been observed to date.
In addition, protection from incident light, especially sunlight, is important. Short-term exposure does little harm.
It does not matter whether colloidal silver is stored in brown glass bottles or clear glass bottles with a cardboard light shield or in another form.
It is equally important to store colloidal silver fairly cool. A cellar would be ideal, but storage at room temperature is usually sufficient.

Note: The stated amount of silver is the amount released into the solution. This may differ from the actual silver content, as adhesion losses of silver to surfaces during and after production cannot be calculated and therefore cannot be taken into account.
