The rocket seedlings are ideal as a topping for salads, soup and cream cheese or as a spread on bread.
The manufacturer writes:
Grown in Europe. Rocket seedlings are mucilaginous and therefore unsuitable for the bioSnacky sprouting glass.
Rocket seedlings taste marvellously spicy and mildly pungent, adding Mediterranean flair to your cuisine. Seedlings are the simplest way of adding key vitamins, minerals, trace elements, secondary plant substances and fibre to your diet throughout the year – freshly harvested and “local” from your own windowsill!
Before sowing and before eating, wash thoroughly in clean water. Fine root hairs may develop. Use 1 tablespoon of seeds. There is no need to soak the seeds first. Rinse with water once a day and harvest after 4-6 days. The ideal temperature for sprouting is 18-22°C.
Storage: keep cool, dry and protected from light.
