Lexicon edition with high-quality bible-thin paper, size 17 x 24 cm, with punched thumb index and library cloth. In the present second edition the errata previously published in the "Journal for Classical Homoeopathy" have been corrected.
Kent's Repertory was the primary tool of generations of classical homoeopaths and, thanks to its clear organisation, has become the structural basis of the most commonly used modern repertories. As a basis for solid repertorisation it remains well suited. Especially because of its reliability it is still used by many homoeopaths today. The repertory was the life’s work of James Tyler Kent. He worked on it for decades until the end of his life, continually supplementing it with provings and clinical experience.
This edition is a faithful new translation of the established classic and, compared with other translations, contains no additions. The remedy names have been updated. In addition to the repertory the work includes a 40-page introduction to repertorisation by Bidwell. Kent himself described this introduction as 'excellent' and wrote the foreword to it.
The most remarkable thing about this work is the price. Of all the major German-language repertories it is currently the most affordable.
If you want to go beyond basic guidebooks in homoeopathy, a repertory is indispensable. Here you can look up the symptoms as expressed by the patient and find the corresponding homoeopathic remedies. You can not only find diagnoses such as renal colic or sciatica, but also look up specific symptoms such as 'pressing pain in the right eye that radiates to the back of the head and is worsened by movement'. This enables the precise determination of the appropriate remedy.
Sturdy, bound edition in a large lexicon format with a punched thumb index to make looking things up easier.

James Tyler Kent
(1849-1916)
Probably the most important homoeopath of his time, he was born in 1849 in the state of New York, USA.
After initially belonging to the school of the Eclectics, he soon became an ardent advocate of Hahnemann's teachings.
For many years he was a professor at the most prominent homoeopathic colleges in the USA, including the Hering Medical College and the Hahnemann Medical College in Chicago.
In particular his comprehensive repertory still serves as the basis for many modern repertories. His death in 1916 marked the end of an era.
