37g sugar!?

According to the list of ingredients, the bar contains 37g of sugar, I assume per 100g. Can anyone confirm this? I find this proportion very high.

I'm just looking at a bar (just bought): There are 222 kcal and 20 g of sugar per bar (!). There is no added sugar, but the dates naturally contain sugar. The cocoa flavour is also the only one that doesn't taste too sweet to me.
