The Lotus FONTANA® PiPremium filter cartridge delivers an exceptionally pleasant taste. The contained minerals remain effective for up to four months before becoming depleted.

This high-quality 5-chamber filter cartridge for the Lotus FONTANA® water filter is designed so that each individual layer can unfold its specific effect optimally. Similar to nature, the water flows slowly through the various mineral ceramic media and thus has enough time to absorb the contained minerals and energies. The interaction of the carefully selected components forms the heart of the LOTUS VITA PiVitalis® water filter technology. To further enhance the positive filtering effect, magnetic fields generated by magnets integrated into each layer are also used.
The harmonious interaction of these high-quality components forms the core of the LOTUS VITA PiVitalis® technology.

Lotus FONTANA® - Model 2024 - PiPremium filter cartridge

1st chamber (high-performance activated carbon)

The first and largest chamber filters pharmaceuticals, pesticides, heavy metals and other contaminants. A potassium ion exchanger effectively reduces limescale and enriches the water with potassium, the "feel-good mineral".

2nd chamber (natural zeolite)

Considered a scavenger of radicals, it can bind both free radicals and radical parts of molecules, thereby reducing or neutralising their reactivity.

3rd chamber (mineral ceramics)

Three different mineral ceramic media interact with the water and release trace elements such as iron, magnesium, zinc, copper and selenium.
The ceramics store ambient heat and emit far-infrared waves (FIR) to their surroundings or into the water.

4th chamber (quartz sand)

With its crystalline structure, quartz sand represents both a crystal and a natural stream bed. It is intended to remind the water of its own original crystalline structure.

Japanese EM ceramic tubes (EM = effective microorganisms) are described by the manufacturer as restoring the information of the natural balance of life.

5th chamber (EM ceramic)

Japanese EM ceramic tubes (EM = effective microorganisms) are produced using clay and EM in an elaborate, multi-month process and are finally fired at 1200°C. According to the manufacturer, this ceramic contains the information of the natural balance of life.

Magnetic fields

Magnetic fields integrated into the filter cartridge are said to support the water's filtration and transformation process.

This filter cartridge fits all Lotus FONTANA models KENDRA, JORO and KAITO. It does not fit the Lotus FONTANA Mini models.
