This book should be a great help not only for people diagnosed with thyroid dysfunction, but also for many others with symptoms such as brain fog, depression, unexplained weight gain and much more. - To avoid years of "doctor hopping" and a lot of frustration, it is better to read this book by Elle Russ, which is based on her own experiences - and ultimately successes. It also shows that thyroid values from the laboratory are not always interpreted correctly by doctors. Avoiding gluten and soya and switching to Paleo were some of the measures that helped the author to regain her vitality and zest for life.

A book that you should really read into

Paleo for the thyroid was new to me. I bought this book out of curiosity and am working my way from chapter to chapter with great interest (I'm not quite through it yet). The author shows new ways (for me) of dealing with thyroid problems. Definitely recommendable.

a bit disappointing ... would have expected at least a few recipes ... maybe bought a bit 'blind' .... the case studies are actually less interesting ... it's more a story of self-awareness ... everyone who thinks they have something to say is writing books these days
