Our organic castor oil is obtained from Ricinus communis, the seeds of the miracle tree. Castor oil is grown in India under controlled organic conditions. The castor seeds are gently cold-pressed to obtain the naturally pure, high-quality organic castor oil. Cold pressing preserves the valuable ingredients. The oil contains no additives.

Why castor oil is so valuable

Castor oil naturally contains omega fatty acids and vitamin E. These nutrients protect the skin cells from free radicals and thus from premature ageing. This makes it ideal as an anti-ageing skin care oil when used regularly. It forms a protective layer on the skin that retains moisture and gently smoothes the skin's texture.

What is castor oil?

Castor oil is a vegetable oil from the seeds of the miracle tree Ricinus communis. This is a tropical spurge plant. It is also known as palmachrist oil. This name is derived from the palm-shaped, partially red-veined leaves of the miracle tree. In the Middle Ages, this triggered an association with Jesus' healing hands. The rapid growth of the plant earned it the name miracle tree.

Power for skin and hair
This organic castor oil is a valuable discovery for me. It is rich in vitamin E, minerals, proteins and useful fatty acids. It nourishes dry areas of skin and, in combination with DMSO, I also use it for neck care. However, I have had the greatest success with hair oil. It soothes itchy scalps and dandruff and promotes hair growth. The hair follicles are supplied with nutrients and my hair feels much stronger and shiny. I leave it on for about 2 hours and then wash it out again. Mixed with DMSO, it works very quickly for me against hair loss, and I talk about this in the DMSO review. Thicker eyelashes

I have been using castor oil for years, especially in the Canadian winter my facial skin is often cracked, rough and it was very painful. I just apply it to my face morning and night. It leaves a beautiful glow. Also soothes fine lines. I also apply it to my hands and arms because they are rough and itchy in winter. I have also recommended it to my friend with psoriasis on her face for many years and she finally got it this winter and loved it. Why didn't I use it before, she asks me now. You can't even see the rashes on her face any more. I also make a neck compress to treat a lump in her thyroid gland, which takes a little more patience. I just don't know if this castor oil is hexane free. I also take a teaspoon and it helps with the joints for osteoarthritis and osteoarthritis.

Liver compress with castor oil
This castor oil is ideal for liver compresses during liver and gallbladder cleansing. It is an optimal support for detoxification and represents a natural measure that can accelerate the elimination of harmful substances. The oil wrap can also be used to alleviate a wide range of complaints. I have already carried out the cleansing 3 times with good results (Andreas Moritz : Die wundersame Leber-und Gallenblasenreigung) and was also able to relieve my liver with the castor oil wrap. It is also good for nail care, but not so much for skin care, as in my opinion it is too heavy and too sticky and is poorly absorbed (hence a point deduction). Great product for stressed skin plus hair
Unimedica's castor oil is part of my daily skincare regime. The best way to apply the product is diluted in another carrier oil. I usually use jojoba or olive oil for dilution. Castor oil is also great for itchy scalps and helps against hair loss in the long term. Eyelashes and eyebrows also grow faster with daily use. Insider tip: If you regularly do a bowel cleanse, you can also use castor oil internally.

I bought this product after reading the reviews and have not been disappointed. Even after the first few applications I realised how great it works. I use it together with face cream and body lotion, mixing one or two drops into each and the skin becomes soft and feels nourished. I tolerate the oil very well and have no skin reactions. One small weak point is perhaps the pump head, some oil runs out. But you can wipe it off with your hand and spread it on your body. The bottle itself is very nice, light-proof, so it protects the oil well, but I still put it away in a dark and cool place after use. Very pleasantly neutral smelling and super nourishing oil! My husband and I now both use it for our eyebrows and eyelashes 😅 After it's absorbed it's not sticky or too heavy at all ... Perfect for manicures and pedicures too (cuticles were softened extremely well!) and actually for the whole body. Great product
At first I was a bit sceptical about how the oil would affect my skin. After my last attempt with carrot oil, I had pimples afterwards. This oil takes quite a long time to be absorbed but it's really great - I don't have any problems afterwards and I use it after micro needling to quickly moisturise and soothe the skin with vitamins.

The best oil ever.
I have already tried several castor oils, this one convinced me after the first drop! A clear recommendation! What has now unsettled me is a reminder from Narayana. The bill was 133.41 euros - 127.82 Swiss francs. I paid it in Swiss francs. Narayana has already sent me a reminder that I have to pay 7.59 immediately. Your invoice says 141.00. I paid what was stated on the order. Wouldn't it be better to contact the customer first instead of sending a reminder by post? An e-mail was sent to me. Such actions make the customer very insecure. If we don't want to live in a better world, then we should make the effort to do so. Trust instead of reminders.

I really liked this product. I use it mixed with coconut oil or argan oil. I moisturise my face with it and also use it on my hair. It feels very good.
