OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) are natural secondary plant compounds. They belong to the polyphenols, specifically to the subgroup of flavanols. OPCs are found mainly in grape seeds, in grape skins and in the leaves of red grapevines, but also in apples, ginkgo leaves or coconuts. OPCs were first discovered in the red skins of peanuts.
