TranzAlpine Organic Manuka Honey MGO 250+

The all-rounder

Original beekeeper bottling from New Zealand

The valuable honey of the Manuka shrub (Leptospermum scoparium), related to the Australian tea tree, is used in New Zealand not only as a delicacy but also traditionally applied topically and taken internally. The unique properties of certain Manuka honeys are primarily due to the so‑called methylglyoxal (MGO), which is present in this organic Manuka honey at a minimum of 250 mg/kg.

Manuka honey for athlete's foot
I've been using Manuka honey for a while now, especially at this time of year. It has a very unique flavour, which I love :). I put it on my bread, add a teaspoon to my tea or snack on a teaspoonful in between meals. For me, I had an amazing success, namely I had athlete's foot between 3 teeth, which I fought with the honey. I smeared the honey directly onto the affected areas and dried them with cold air from the hair dryer. In between, I used a little baking soda to dry out the fungus. I usually did this in the evening as otherwise the honey would spread into my shoes :). I did this for about 1.5-2 weeks and the fungus had disappeared.

Good honey
Good organic quality. As my children also eat it on bread, I ordered it with less MGO.
