Organic olive oil of the highest quality. Olive oil has always been regarded as part of a healthy lifestyle and forms the basis of the Mediterranean food pyramid. The olive trees of the Koroneiki variety grow in the Messara region on the slopes of the Psiloritis mountains in southern Crete. Kidonakis organic extra virgin olive oil is distinguished by its special flavour and is produced exclusively from the Koroneiki olive by cold-pressing at a maximum of 27 °C.
Due to a very short processing time, among other things this results in a very low acidity (oleic acid content) of a maximum of 0.6%. This makes it suitable for high-temperature cooking without any problems.
