Amalaki syn. Amla - Phyllantus emblica - is a very attractive, medium-sized, deciduous tree with pinnate leaves, pale green flowers and round, pale green to yellow fruits. In Ayurvedic nutrition the fruits are used. The powder of the dried fruits, finely and gently milled in our production (below 40°C), comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan Fair Trade and organic projects.
According to Ayurveda, this product corresponds on the level of the harmonious balance of the doshas* through the balance of the six tastes. It provides the tastes sour, sweet, bitter, astringent and pungent.
*Doshas are Ayurvedic principles that have no equivalent in modern science.

Take one level measuring spoon, preferably divided into two portions, with warm water between meals. The daily intake of 4.50 g herbal powder contains 765.00 mg polyphenols.
