Good companion
This book has helped me a lot as a guide and also in understanding my illness. It offers good perspectives and approaches that you can pursue with your doctors or on your own, depending on your own level of knowledge. When I read the other review that the book supposedly recommends taking super high doses of Vit D according to the Coimbra Protocol, I have to say that you should also read it CORRECTLY: it is not about implementing the Coimbra Protocol, nor should you take mega doses of Vit D permanently without consulting your doctor. Incidentally, this is a book that shows and discusses many possibilities and does not come across as dictatorial. I thought it was great and read it again and again!

Vitamin D information in the book
I can only warn against taking 600,000 I.U. of vitamin D (as you can read in the sample)! Something like this belongs in the hands of experienced doctors who are familiar with the Coimbra Protocol!

A really well-founded, thoroughly researched book by a doctor who is affected by the disease himself. The examination of all the studies published at the time on medication and lifestyle modification helps sufferers to shape their own path and to be well prepared for discussions with their neurologists. I hope that there will soon be a new, updated edition that will take a critical look at the latest drugs.
