The fine composition of lupins, rye and chicory makes this coffee substitute a unique and well-balanced pleasure. When selecting the ingredients we place value on the highest quality. Lupins, rye and chicory are grown in Europe. The instant coffee gets its special caffeine kick from guarana, and maize syrup gives a subtle sweetness.
You can enjoy the Naturata Lupinenkaffee Guarana not only as a hot drink or iced coffee. It also gives desserts and many other dishes a special note.
Due to the special manufacturing process the instant coffee is gluten-free. First the individual ingredients are partially malted, roasted, coarsely ground and mixed. The roasted and crushed ingredients are then brewed, producing a strong coffee extract. The adhesive proteins prolamins and glutelins (which together form gluten) are not water-soluble and remain in the filter. Thus the lupin coffee is already gluten-free at this stage. In the next processing step the still-liquid extract is instantised — that is, spray-dried into the fine powdered form which is then packed.
